Believe it or not, there actually are unicorns alive and kicking in London. Well, at least if you look hard enough for them. Based on my experiences yesterday I found them all over. There’s something about this town that makes it so fugly (fabulously ugly) and maybe it’s just that combination that makes me love this place. There are highs and lows to London with the highs being… well, there’s basically nothing you can’t find here.
There’s an abundance of culture, which is just awesome. There’s history. There’s shopping. There’s a pulse you don’t find in many other cities. On the other hand the city itself isn’t pretty. It’s got it’s pretty historical hot spots, but apart from that it’s quite a chaotic mix of old and new, with actually the new often overshadowing the old instead of enhancing it. That’s kind of sad. I LOVE when you combine old and new architecture, but here it hasn’t been all that successful unfortunately. But for unicorn hunting it’s the perfect place and i’ll keep on doing that today during photo shoots, meetings and maybe i’ll go for a musical tonight just to relax. Until then, GO unicorns!
