[:en]Exactly two weeks from now I’ll be in Paris for Paris Fashion Week. I’m more than excited about this trip. I’m ecstatic! I visit Paris on a regular basis, but this is the first time I’ll be there during PFW and THAT is something totally different. Ok, so it’s not PFW menswear collections, but it’s still PFW and EVERYone will be there, including me. 😀 I’m traveling with my best friend Renata who is a jewelry designer for Love Gems and we’re going to see some fashion shows, meet some interesting people and I have a few photoshoots booked as well. So it’s a combination of work and pleasure, which in my mind is the best way to do things. Work should be a pleasure, if not, you’re in the wrong business.
To honor my favorite store in Paris (maybe in the whole world), Colette, I’m wearing their t-shirt in these pics. The other explanation could be that we still have 27 degrees Celsius (80 F) and no signs of autumn yet here in the south of Sweden and even wearing this makes me sweat uh, more than I want to express in here. Colette has basically all I need to stay alive and if they had a hotel I’d move in there. They have an amazing collection of brands with amazing clothes, accessories, jewelry, gadgets, books, sneakers and God knows what. It’s a bit pricy, but if you’re just there for the atmosphere the cheapest you can buy is probably a Louis Vuitton guide to Paris for approx 30€. I just love that place and if there’s one store you need to visit while in Paris it’s Colette! If it’s your first time in Paris you might wanna do the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and all that stuff as well, but don’t forget to take a break from all the touristy stuff for a while and just enjoy Paris like Parisians do!

Paris Fashion Week är något bland det största i världen och även om det inte är äldst är det den modevecka som anses “finast”. Nu är det ju inte mode för män som visas (det var i somras), men att befinna sig i Paris under modeveckan är något magiskt i sig. Jag är i Paris titt som tätt, men det blir min första modevecka där och jag är redan exalterad. Jag reser med min bästa väninna Renata som är smyckesdesigner för Love Gems (kolla in sidan!) och tillsammans med henne ska vi gå på visningar, träffa intressanta människor av olika slag och sedan har jag bokat in några plåtningar i Paris så det blir en hel del jobb, dock blandat med nöje. Nytta med nöje är helt klart den bästa kombon.
Paris till ära har jag på mig min tisha från Colette. Om du inte har varit på Colette så måste du helt enkelt ta er dit. (En annan förklaring kan vara att det fortfarande är 27 grader nere i Skåne och man typ svettas ihjäl om man har på sig något annat.) Det är min favoritaffär alla kategorier och då snackar vi i hela världen. De har kläder, skor, accessoarer, böcker, teknikprylar… listan kan göras oändlig. Prisklassen är något hög, men om du bara vill insupa atmosfären kan du köpa en chokladkaka som souvenir för 6€ vilket är omkring det billigaste de har. I övrigt kan man på deras fem våningar spendera timmar (och en förmögenhet). Har du inte varit i Paris förr ska du såklart inte missa Eiffeltornet, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur och diverse andra turistmåsten, men glöm inte att ta en paus från allt turistande och sätt dig någonstans och fika och njut av att vara i Paris helt enkelt. Det tog mig faktiskt flera gånger innan jag fann charmen med denna stad alla talade så gott om. Nu betraktar jag det som ett av mina många hem i världen.

How exciting that you’ll be attending PFW! Fashion Week is such an amazing time, regardless if it’s men or womenswear; you’re right, everyone is there and it’s great to network and become even more inspired!
