[:en]I’m finally back in one of my fave cities in the world which is also in the top five category of places I might want to move to in a not so very distant future. But then again, London is always cheap to fly to wherever you are in Europe and to be honest, there are prettier places to live in. London is by no means ugly and it does have some sweet spots that are really beautiful, but without creating any rivalry between nationalities here, let’s face it… Just look at Paris and you’ll know what I mean.

What London has however is a vibrant atmosphere which is unique. Even compared to NYC, LA, SF (which are also on my list of places where to live). There’s a unique mix of creative people in London which makes it such a great place to, if not live in, visit OFTEN. That’s why I’m actually in London for a quick pit stop just to catch up with some clothing brands, meet up friends, try to make time to go to Tate Modern (always a must see), even trying to squeeze in a musical and of course, some photo shoots. The pictures below are from my last visit in September and it’s sad to see how much paler I’ve gotten as it’s only been two months… Oh well, London is already preparing for Christmas and I’m going to enjoy the pre-holiday spirit going on in the city while I’m looking forward to an actual short VACATION (yes, you heard it, vacation!) in Prague where I’ll go to with my mom the week before Christmas. Before that I’ll visit Stockholm (which is ALSO on my list) like 3 times though as well as travel around Sweden to experience different kinds of activities to keep that fall and winter depression away. You’ll get to read all about those wonderful experiences shortly. I mean, a lot of my friends in LA and even a bit further down in Europe wonder how we cope with the long dark winter in Sweden. The answer is: we don’t. But there are things that lighten up your mood and that’s what’s coming up on the blog. Right now I’m busy doing London though, so I’ll catch up with you next week! London är en ständig inspiration för nya idéer och även om det är en rätt sjaskig stad så ligger den i topp fem över städer jag vill flytta till inom en inte alltför avlägsen framtid. Här finns ett driv och en anda som till och med andra metropoler som NYC, LA eller SF (som alla tre också finns på min lista) saknar. Det är ungt, trendkänsligt och ständigt i förnyelse, vilket man också ser i stadsbilden rent arkitektoniskt.

Just nu förbereder sig staden för julen och börjar så smått förvandlas till ett sprudlande julparadis, men ändå inte ens i närheten av det vackra Prag som jag med min mor ska besöka för första gången i december för att faktiskt ha SEMESTER. Japp, jag kanske har varit ledig en hel del från jobbet i höst och rest runt, men någon semester har det inte varit. Att blogga är inte bara att ställa sig framför en kamera och ta några bilder. Det kräver så oerhört mycket mer än bara så och jag lär mig mer hela tiden, så all den “ledighet” jag haft i höst har varit full rulle på modeveckor, pressveckor, plåtningar med sjuka scheman över helger (något ni får se resultatet av inom kort) och så vidare. I ett framtida inlägg ska jag berätta om hur det faktiskt går till när man har ett heltidsjobb och utöver det bloggar på något så när heltid. Men nog om det, nu ska jag försöka njuta lite av London de få timmar jag har lediga här. Hörs nästa vecka och trevlig helg på er!

    I love these pictures! London is a place I am dying to visit! I’ve heard the weather is not so great but there’s so much to see: the architectures, the people, the food!

      Well, London has a reputation of always having rain pouring down the sky, which was true for one out of the three days I was there, but I’ve experienced hot summer days in London too, so it’s a bit of an unfair reputation it has regarding that 🙂

    Great outfit. I love London. My cousin moved there since her common law is from London. I’ve visited only for a few days and thought it was beautiful. Food is a tad on the pricy side but I love how pretty it is there! Flying within Europe is so affordable. I envy that about where you live! Enjoy your trip!

      Haha, the short version is: I am from Stockholm, lived Upstate NY in my teens, nowadays reside in a small university town called Lund in the south of Sweden, but travel around a lot. 🙂
