[:en]I was going to start with saying it’s been a long week, but then I realized it’s only Wednesday. The truth is, it’s been a long three months. I can’t believe it’s ONLY been three months since I began blogging as it feels like I’ve been doing this forever and got a really good routine going on right now. What I do realize is though that “this blogging thing” of mine is so much more than I had anticipated, in good and bad. The good part is I get to experience places, things and people I never would have if I hadn’t chosen this path. The bad part is that it’s really taking ALL my free time. But with that said, free time needs some defining. If I do something I enjoy and really love that is a combination of what began as a hobby and now is work, isn’t it still somewhat time I spend fulfilling myself and thus “free time”? Free time as in having time to actually sit down, breathe and read a good book I will get to. I’ll just have to downsize my schedule a bit and that’s exactly what I’m doing this upcoming weekend. I’ve cleared my entire schedule in order to do a whole lot of nothing.
Speaking of not being able to adult anymore I’m in love (I don’t use these words that much when I talk about clothes, so trust me on this one) with this sweater from a local brand called Manners Apparel. They’ve done lotsa stuff, but this sweater and other famous TV couples even made their way into my favorite store in the world, that is Colette on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. I was so proud when I saw it hanging there! And speaking of Brenda and Dylan, that brings back SO many childhood memories of how I used to look at America pre-living there compared to post-living in the US. I’ll save that for a later blog post, but not all of America was like 90210… With that said, make sure you get some free time fit into your schedules so you don’t burn yourselves out!

November 30, 2016 at 12:37 pmI agree with the previous comment. I can’t believe you’ve only been at this for 3 months!
From a health perspective, do make sure to take some time off from your busy schedule. There’s nothing worse than burning out and i want you to keep producing these great articles! Have a great weekend Thomas.

November 30, 2016 at 2:23 pmI understand where you’re at and believe me its a hard slog at the start but its totally worth it if you love what you do! I was struggling to juggle two full time jobs but when you get to the stage where you can let one go and pursue what you love then you’ll realise it was all worth it!!

November 30, 2016 at 2:54 pmUmmmm WHAT?! You only begin blogging three months ago?!?! That is absolutely ludicrous to me. You sound like such a professional and well experienced blogger, I never would’ve guessed that it’s only been such a short amount of time. I definitely get you and you say that you don’t have any free time though, I feel the exact same way. Even though I don’t work another job blogging is all that I seem to be doing half the time – or I guess more than half the time, huh? But it is definitely worth it because I love it so much and I get to meet fantastic people like yourself! You take it easy though this weekend and enjoy just doing nothing!

November 30, 2016 at 2:56 pmWait, what? You have only been doing this for 3 months, un-freaking-believable! Because you are doing a darn good job, Thomas! So glad you started this journey, as you can tell it is fantastic and the opportunities it brings is limitless. And that fact that you write from your heart makes people like me love your blog even more, keep on inspiring! That is such a darling sweatshirt.

November 30, 2016 at 2:57 pmEverything you said is so true. Even though my blog is my full time job, it’s a job that allows freedom which is why I love it! And i know it can be a lot of work but it all pays off in the end trust me. Just make sure you do actually take time for friends, family, and fun in between so you can enjoy the benefits of your hard work =)

November 30, 2016 at 3:50 pmI hear you!! I feel like we relate so much! I am so glad to have something so fulfilling to do in my free time, but it does take ALL your free time and some days I just want to breathe and do nothing. So happy you cleared your schedule and get to do that this weekend! I’m going to plan to do that over Christmas break!

November 30, 2016 at 4:08 pmYou are so right finding free time is so hard! Blogging is a full time job but on the bright side it’s wonderful to see a passion turn into something more lucrative. At the end of the day I would rather be busy doing something that I love then something that I hate! This weekend though, I am going to follow your lead and take a break to meditate and appreciate what I am most thankful for. All the best to you and thank you for posting so many entertaining pieces on your blog!

November 30, 2016 at 7:33 pmGood post today, Thomas. I feel you… blogging can easily take up most of our time. At least when you take it as seriously as we do. And then there’s people who wonder if there is really any effort behind blogging like we do. Hah! Silly people.
Jo
November 30, 2016 at 8:42 pmI really can’t wait for Christmas so I can finally take a day off, although to be honest I’ll probably still be attached to my phone looking at Insta, etc at some point in the day (oh dear!!) Anyway, enjoy your free time! You totally deserve it. Love the 90210 reference btw 😉

November 30, 2016 at 9:59 pmI can’t believe you have only been doing this for three months! You are amazing! And OMG, LOVE this sweatshirt. Totally grew up watching 90210 and yes to Brenda and Dylan! lol. But seriously, I agree with you…blogging does take up all of our spare time and it is great to take a break once in a while and do things that are unrelated to blogging and just something for yourself. xoxo, Christine

November 30, 2016 at 10:36 pmWhat you achieved in 3 months of blogging is something most of us could not have even dreamed in 3 years. When I first discovered your blog, I thought you had been blogging for years as you are extremely professional and experienced in what you do. I know how hectic your schedule is every day but dedication, commitment and hard work do pay off and it’s all worth it at end. I am also so happy you will finally get a break this weekend (yay for both of us :)). Now let’s talk about these images though, I love every single one of them, truly amazing captures. I hope this company will make a sweater for my favorite TV couple – Ross + Rachel :).

December 1, 2016 at 1:41 amI’m with everyone else. I thought you were blogging for much longer than that; you’re such a natural. Blogging also takes up my free time, not that “I” complain about it, but my bf slides in his comments about it from time to time. I love how you share your real perspective on the world of blogging; I’m sure it makes it a lot easier for all the rest of us to do so, so that we can share tips and tricks on how to get around that 🙂

December 1, 2016 at 2:46 amThat is such a sleek watch! Brenda + Dylan is such a cool sweater, but personally I’m more team Kelly + Dylan. Brenda was kinda bitchy and moody haha. Blogging totally takes up way more time, especially now with all of Instagram’s rules and what not. But it’s what I enjoy doing. So it’s all good, right?! 🙂

December 1, 2016 at 3:50 pmThomas, 3 months?!? How is that even possible? You are such a natural! I totally feel you with the dilemma between blogging being a hobby but something that does consume so very much of your free time. Important to know when to give yourself a little “you” time away from blogging. I always need that every once in a while!

December 1, 2016 at 9:16 pmLove this sweater. How lucky to stumble across one from a brand you absolutely love! I know what you mean about not having as much time anymore. Socializing in person can definitely be so much more challenging especially since you work 9-5 and blog! However, I love that I’ve met other bloggers, and hope it means that one day we all meet and maybe end up blogging at a cafe or something together before dinner and drinks. How awesome would that be? Socializing and working with people who you love and support, and vise versa?! 🙂

December 2, 2016 at 7:34 amWell don’t stress because you are killing it!!! Especially after hearing you have only been doing this for three months, much kudos to you! But I do understand where you are coming from in that I feel as if lately I have been overwhelmed with so much to do and the little time I have, leaving little time for “free time”. I want to get to a better point of being more caught up so I can take breaks more often to get to do other fun stuff! Good luck babe, keep killing it, love this denim on denim look. xo, Darci

December 2, 2016 at 10:21 amYou started blogging only 3 months ago?! I’m so surprised like the others. You’re doing an amazing job! I love reading your posts. Speaking of taking time for ourselves and not burning out my doctor just actually asked me to take a few days off from my 9 to 5 job. Blogging I can’t stop because I love LOL it but I definitely take more time for me to relax and just do NOTHING.
I like this look! haha and can’t wait to read your post about your experience in the US. I feel like it’s going to be very interesting haha
