For this post I got to collaborate with Deichmann, who celebrate a 10 year anniversary in Sweden, to show you guys my five favorite shoes for the fall season. By now you all know that I’m basically always wearing white sneakers, whether it’s a formal occasion or just strutting down the street. If you’re not a sneaker fan like me you might not have noticed it, but in my collection there are over 70 pairs of white sneakers, so take a closer look next time you’re on Instagram and you’ll notice the difference. Today I’m not here to talk about my love for sneakers however, but about stepping out of my comfort zone for the fall season by trying on something different. Not to shock you too much I’ll actually start out with a pair of white sneakers, but keep scrolling and you’ll be surprised. 

1. Plain white sneakers from the inhouse brand Venice. Need I say more. I could go on with this thing about white sneakers forever, but as you can see, they go equally well when you’re hiding in your hooded pink parkas as they go with a blazer and a tie. The thing about white sneakers is, however, that they do tend to get dirty, especially in the rain showers and sometimes muddy streets fall provides us with, so that what makes these sneakers which retail at 399 SEK a bargain. Simply, you don’t have to compromise on quality, but don’t have to watch your every step and still wear crispy white kicks to match the crispy weather. 

2. As you also know, I love high to mid tops when it comes to sneakers and these brown/navy blueish mid cuts from Memphis One are a perfect compromise when you want to add something edgy, fashionable, yet wearable to your collection of shoes. Retailing at 349 SEK they’re once again a bargain and the color switches depending on the lighting so they’d go well with a pair of blue jeans or chinos as well. 

3. I don’t think I need to go on with the white sneaker situation. I’ve been looking for sneakers that go perfectly with autumn colors (yeah, I tend to blend British and American as I do happen to love the word ‘autumn’, ‘fall’ has a negative connotation to it) for years now from various brands, but haven’t found what I actually am looking for until now. These light brown sneakers from Memphis One for 349 SEK have finally cured me of my phobia for sneakers in other colors and at a bargain price at that. 

4. Brown boots from Venice (the brand that is, not the city) is probably as far from my comfort zone I can get, but turned out to be my favorite ones out of the whole bunch as they’re both comfy and will keep my toes warm this winter. After my trip to Canada I’m even considering becoming an outdoorsy person. That is, my perception of outdoorsy: a nice walk in Central Park dressed in something like this. Oh, and the price? 549 SEK… 

5. These Court Royale’s from Nike are online exclusives at Deichmann are a must-have with their somewhat hard to define navyish color contrasting with the beige sole that make them irresistible. Pair them with basically anything and you’ll still look good, no matter what. Being Nike, they retail at 799 SEK at Deichmann, but are still priceworthy in comparison to a lot of things out there.

Some of you have never heard of Deichmann, so being the history nerd that I am, here’s why I personally love them: Heinrich Deichmann, born in 1888, opened a cobblers’ shop and ran it with his wife Julie back in 1913 in Germany. Two generations and 104 years later, the company has developed into Europe’s market leader. Deichmann is currently active in 26 countries with about 3,800 local shops and employs approximately 38,252 people. Now as always, Deichmann is a family business that believes in growing through its own resources. For those not familiar with the company I like to compare it to the H&M of shoes; Good quality and great design at a price point all can afford.

I detta inlägg fick jag äran att samarbeta med Deichmann, som firar 10 år i Sverige, för att visa er mina fem höstfavoriter när det gäller skor. Vid det här laget vet ni nog att jag nästan uteslutande bär vita sneakers, vare sig det rör sig om mer formella tillställningar eller att ta sig över gatan till matbutiken. Ta dock en närmare titt nästa gång ni ser vita skor på Instagram då min samling består av mer än 70 par vita sneakers, så det är sannerligen inte ett och samma par jag visar upp gång på gång. Idag ska jag dock inte prata om min förkärlek för sneakers dock, utan snarare ska jag stiga ut ur min trygghetszon en bit och visa upp mina höstfavoriter. För att inte chocka er alltför mycket, tänker jag allt tidigarenämnda till trots, börja med att visa upp en stapelvara som alltid behövs, det vill säga vita sneakers, men läs vidare och ni kommer att bli glatt överraskade. 

1. Vanliga vita sneakers från Venice. Här behöver man knappast någon raketforskning eller motivering från min sida gällande varför jag rekommenderar dessa. Som ni ser så går de att kombinera med allt från en rosa dunjacka med luva till en blazerhistoria med slips, om man är lagd åt det hållet. Vita sneakers har en tendens att inte vara så vita efter ett tag dock, speciellt inte nu under höstrusk med tillhörande regn och gyttja, så därför är dessa skor för 399 kronor ett fynd. Du behöver helt enkelt inte kompromissa vad gäller kvalitet och design, men behöver heller inte vara petnoga med var du sätter din fot och kan fortsatt använda vita skor långt in på hösten. 

2. Som ni också sett från mina bilder så älskar jag höga eller halvhöga sneakers och dessa brun/marinblåiga mellanhöga skorna från Memphis One är den perfekta kompromissen när du vill lägga till något vasst, moderiktigt, men ändå komfortabelt i ditt skoförråd. Med ett pris på 349 kronor är de återigen ett fynd och färgen skiftar faktiskt beroende på ljussättningen så de är lite av kameleonter och passar därför lika väl till blåjeans som chinos. 

3. Dessa ljusbruna skor från Memphis One går att finna för 349 kronor hos Deichmann. Höga sneakers är ju som bekant min grej och jag har genom åren letat efter något annat till hösten än just vita sådana som skulle passa in i hösten och bland annat sneglat på diverse olika varumärken, utan att riktigt ha nått hela vägen fram. Med dessa känner jag mig faktiskt trygg utanför min bekvämlighetszon och kan säga att ytterligare en “färgfobi” blivit botad. 

4. Bruna kängor från Venice är inget jag trodde jag skulle ha på mig i första hand och är ungefär så långt ut ur min bekvämlighetszon man kan komma (om vi inte inkluderar lackskor), men dessa blev faktiskt mina favoriter från samtliga skor jag visar upp här då de inte bara är snygga utan oerhört sköna och bekväma också och kan nog omvandla mig till den utomhusmänniska jag alltid drömt om att vara. Det vill säga min version av en utomhusmänniska, den som tar en morgonpromenad bland löven runt Djurgården. Och priset? 549 kronor. En mycket prisvärd investering för kyligare väder. 

5. Dessa Court Royale-sneakers från Nike säljs enbart online hos Deichmann och är ett av höstens modemåsten med dess något svårdefinierade marinblå färg i kontrast till den beige sulan som gör dem oemotståndliga. Man kan kombinera dem med i princip vad som helst och de ser fortsatt perfekta ut. Prislappen är något högre då det trots allt är Nike vi snackar om, men 799 kronor är trots allt överkomligt i jämförelse med mycket annat som finns ute på marknaden.

    This post is so relevant because over the last few weeks, I have been slowly adding fall shoes to my wardrobe. I think classic white sneakers are a must because I love being comfortable and I walk a lot in the city, so those are a staple in my closet. In addition, I think a good pair of ankle boots as well as tall boots are a must!

    Thomas, these are excellent choices of kicks! I have been styling my kicks with every outfit including my maxi dresses and midi skirts so this post is up my alley. I love the nike navy suede ones and I might get them for my hubs since he has been in search for a new pair. Also, the brown/tan ones from Memphis ones are so cool. Do they come in smaller sizes?     I totally get having a shoes obsession but holy cow – 70 pairs of just white sneakers? I want to know how many pairs of shoes you have total. People ask me all the time too and honestly I’ve never counted LOL. That said, nothing beats a fresh white pair of kicks. If only they stayed white… And loving all your fall inspo. I’d have to say the bluish Memphis Ones are probably my faves – I think I’m just a sucker for anything blue 🙂

    White kicks are a must in any boy/girls wardrobe! I wouldn’t even say its a fall accessory as it is a year round one. I’m also digging those brown ones that kinda look like more flattering Timberlands! Haha you and my partner can have a competition when it comes to sneakers. I think I only have 10 pairs myself 😉

    I’m like you in the fact that I love a classic pair of white sneakers but it’s definitely good to step out of your comfort zone! That’s where magic is usually made after all! I think of them all the Memphis One in blue/grey are my favorite. I haven’t seen may shoes similar so they are instantly my favorite. I also, and quite surprisingly, love the brown ones. I would never ever likely think to order and pair of brown sneakers but I truly adore them. Just goes to prove the point! Your imagery is so wonderful and as always, I enjoy your post!

    Very nice post! I agree that is good to jump out from your comfort zone in order to try different options. That’s the only way to see if you look good or not. Without a doubt white kicks are totally a must in every wardrobe, because you can literally wear them with everything and you will never look out of style.     You have 70 pairs of white sneakers!? OMG! I only own 3 pairs of white shoes because I just can’t prevent them from getting dirty. I love the 2nd and 3rd pair! I think, the color and material makes it so unique and different. They also look a bit more dressy than the average sporty sneakers. I have to check out Deichmann.     White sneakers are my absolute fave
    I like having many pairs too as when they are not perfectly white they don’t look as good.
    That cream white puffy jacket is perfection i usually see them in black so a White option is a much cleaner look. I’m also a fan of boots so the brown ones are rather nice with that rugged appeal.

    Oh Thomas these are really great selections you have laid out here! Love that you recommended pairs that are outside your own comfort zone (white shoes haha!) Im actually such a fan of the shoes that look like sneakers but have a subtle zipper detail. I’d actually love to see you do a full styled look with these shoes in a future post, I think it would definitely be interesting to see you can mix and match. It’ll definitely give me some idea on what I can suggest my bf to wear since I’m not that knowledge on male fashion, especially in the shoe area!

Also, I’d confess I was never a fan of white sneakers, but since two or three years ago, white sneakers are my favorite to wear and pair with almost everything in my wardrobe.     I love all your selections. however, as a woman, I love love the white sneakers and the black Nike’s. I love how versatile they are for Autumn and comfortable at the same time. I think the #3 Memphis is my favourite on you out of all of this.
