Fashion, Travel

Ödet spelade hursomhelst in.

    Dear Tommy,
Just the pictures alone made me smile, but I could really ‘hear’ how special and marvelous this most recent adventure was through your carefully chosen words. The fur hat is beyond magnificent and I love the sneakers you changed into at the end but my favorite part of the outfit is your ”Tommy” North Face. My kids love their versions and the brand is actually quite popular in my town. In the winter, at church, I always think it’s funny that the people all have the same label. Anyway, the ‘Tommy’ style is officially my favorite! Also, I am intrigued by Renata’s jewelry and will definitely look into it more !
I look forward to hearing about your next exciting adventure soon!
    Yours truly,

I laughed so hard when I read what you described how different crowds were dressed for London fashion week. My love, you are a genius at writing! I always love peacoat style jacket especially for men! You certainly picked out a great jacket which was even named after you to represent North Sails brand. I am sure you were the one who truly stood out in the crowd of fashion week while wearing this effortless outfit! I sure hope you will keep your trademark as you certainly rock the sneakers look! I’ll definitely check out your best friend’s jewelry collection as I adore the one she made for you!

Ohh that hat is furrific! I definitely can’t pull it off but it looks like it’s keeping you warm in the cold. And a navy peacoat is always a classic. No need to stunt when you stick with something as timeless as that!

Yep, the description of LFQ crowds are correct! 🙂 Last season, there were 2 girls dressed in all gold full of botox and implants posing for cameras like they were famous. Maybe they were, and it was fun to watch but I’d rather look at photographers snapping pictures of you! The look is a perfect mish-mash that is carefully thought out and at the same time looks effortless… Love the sneakers, adore the spiritual necklace, the jacket must have kept you warm in London and the hat…. well the hat is SUPER! I’m Russian, so you’ve hit a soft spot here! 🙂

When a peacoat has your name on it, it’s a sign from God and the universe! How awesome was that feeling? I love how we can all have our own paths to get to our final destination. Love the motto, ”Go where others can’t follow”. Besides, why would you want to copy everyone else right? Love your Russian oligarchy style btw!!!!

Thomas I know what you mean! As you are very straightforward let me tell you I loathe 90% of the men’s outfit at FW. The ones I can’t really bear are the ones with the dandy style verging on the Godfather, they all look alike. I like a man elegantly dressed, but too much affectation makes the opposite effect. That said, one really needs to take his/her own path. That’s what I try to do myself fashion wise and in my private life. Now on to your outfit, which I love in every single detail! It’s unique, classy yet sporty, a dressed up smart casual. Your sneakers are a blast and Thank God you’re not wearing over the ankle tight trousers with bold socks and patent shoes. I love your style bro! Baci, Valeria – Coco et La vie en rose FASHION & BEAUTY

Omg, it is so cool, that you are going to all Fashion Weeks, I dreamed to do it, but I prefer to have a team with me otherwise it will be stressful at least for me. Even I did NYFW once by myself, but it is more fan when you have someone with you. Love the mantra by brand and this outfit, not sure why, maybe cuz of hat but you look so Russian here haha

I didn’t know they wore peacoats when they went sailing back then, but it all kind of makes sense now. It’s not really weatherproof though so I never linked the two together.

I agree with the whole Fashion Week thing. Everyone always tries to stand out, but I’m actually noticing that the more established bloggers are dressing down more. They don’t seem to care what they wear as much. Any thoughts on that?

Love your outfit though! I love that you added the furry hat. It totally makes you stand out against the crowd.

I love your jacket and fur hat. Definitely when it comes to fashion week, street style is something special. There’s so many interesting and exciting outfits every season. Fashion Week is always a whirlwind. There’s a lot going on back at home, so I can’t book a flight out for February just yet. If I do, it’ll be a pretty last minute booking. I have been at a few runway shows at NYFW, but haven’t been back for 2-3 seasons now. I would love to attend a couple of shows in February. Otherwise, I may have to wait for September. I would love to attend Milan and Paris FW. What a dream that would be. I know so many people already go, but those would be a dream come true. 🙂 Have fun!

And quite so, because it look perfect on you. I love how you described the style too – ”Russian oligarch goes streetstyle”! Perfectly on point 🙂

I love that mantra!! And that is so exciting you’re going to fashion week in so many places!! I want to go so bad! I am going to try to go to NYFW this year sometime! And oh my goodness, I can’t handle the people that dress like a paint easel or kids toy box exploded on them! Haha!! I don’t mean to be offensive, but I am such a lover of
style, and less is more, ect. All for statement pieces, but they’re not a statement if everything else is so loud!! Any who, I’ll get off my soapbox haha. I love this look!! That hat is gorgeous and so is that blazer!!

I love your coat and that fur hat! I love that you are doing your own thing and it is so true that people want to stand out. They end up looking the same as everyone else! This post is really motivating to me because honestly, lately, I’ve been feeling like I can’t stand out because I’m falling into this rut where I feel like I look like every other blogger out there but I know I’m different so thanks for the reminder thomas!

Hey Thomas I love the classic cut of the pea coat and how it will be such a go to item on cold days in London! It’s such a huge deal to have been able to create such good opportunity in the fashion industry via fashion week and you must be a very focused and determined person!
The brown sneakers from Washed Rocks when paired with the rest of the outfit as it pulls the Colour together so well!

First of all it’s so exciting that you are attending all of the Fashion Weeks. I am sure it will be an exprience of a lifetime and one that you have worked so hard towards. I attended two shows in September for LFW, and I really hope to attend more in the coming years.
Your London look is perfect, I really love your jacket and it’s so cool that is called the ”Thomas”. Your style is so unique and trendy, I really love it and I know you’re going to stand out at Fashion Week. I can’t wait to read more about your amazing journey this year.

Yes, you always have the wildest and boldest dreams, and that’s one thing kept your blog very interesting! Rather than going through the photos, I actually enjoy reading the content of my posts a little more (not saying the photos not good enough, just saying your writings are creative and attractive!). It’s always good to dream bigger and bolder, so we end up achieving higher!

Keep up with the hard work! I believe you will achieve you want dreamt about in no time.

I love that you are doing you instead of wearing what other people wear! That means that you have a true style while others are just copying trends!

I’m originally from Russia and that type of hats is so popular out there! Combined with your chic blazer it looks so fresh and chic!

I really love this look. I’m actually a fan of looks that you wouldn’t automatically pair together. My style bounces around so much depending on my mood…I’ve likely been all of those looks you were talking about on a different day. 🙂 Also, I loved hearing the history behind the peacoat. I’m really into history of everything too so that was really interesting to learn! Such a great look my friend and it’s awesome to be able to hear part of your story and see where you are now and all your awesome accomplishments!

Love your thoughts on how everybody dresses during a fashion week. It’s genuine and I cant agree more. Loved the coat and you are pulling off that oligarch hat/turban thing with so much ease. I am sure not many people can do that. Its so visible that you give importance to every single detail of the outfit. Keep up the good work

wow . i am little late, but i can’t leave your blog out ever. you are the best and you are definitely showing it herald showed it in LFW. First, I can’t wait to see you in one of the events that you are going to. Maybe Milan. i expect you to let me know when you will be in NYFW.
To my opinion, your making a big statement here, and your looking far from simple.
I want to see another guy to pull this off. NOT HAPPENING.
