Luxury Treatments

Beauty & grooming

As you’ve noticed I’m not introvert when it comes to sharing my innermost thoughts on the blog. The same comes to what I look like and why I look like I do. So here’s a post regarding the somewhat stigmatized beauty correction treatments with injections. Why they are stigmatized I have no idea really, maybe because there are so many people out there with duck lips and foreheads without any mimic at all. At Luxury Treatments that I’ve visited several times during the years they really do NOT want people to look unnatural nor fake. They only want you to look fresh and take away signs of ageing, yet maintaining a natural look.

Upon arrival you’re met by Dr. Wasef Alghazi, who has more degrees in injection treatments than I can count, and together you discuss what you want to fix or enhance. As you’ll see in a picture below he marks the areas to be treated with a pen and that way you’re in total control of what’s going to be injected and where.

I’m seriously scared to death by needles. When they’re taking a blood sample at the doctor’s office I basically faint if I so much look at a needle and always need to lie down. These needles however are so thin you barely feel them at all. At least I didn’t.

See that line between my nose and mouth? All gone!closeup

Here’s a before picture you’d rarely see me posting as I’ve not edited it at all. See the dark area under my eyes here? By injecting small amounts of fillers they completely vanished. Also the angry wrinkle from my forehead is gone with help of some Botox as well as the fine lines surrounding my eyes. The nasolabial line (the line between the nose and lips) is also gone thanks to some fillers. No one could really tell any difference except for the fact that I’ve gotten the responses “you look well rested” and “you look so fresh”. So much for stigmatizing injection treatments…

At Luxury Treatments they always offer you a complimentary follow up visit. That’s because they are VERY keen on you being satisfied with the results, as well as they themselves want to ensure that they have given the customer the best result possible. Since my first visit they have moved to this spacious and beautiful new location next to Lilla Torg in Malmö which is very central, but still discreet in case you’d find it awkward to visit a clinic such as this. I have no idea why treatments like these are still such a taboo, but I do know they work miracles for your self esteem. So why do I recommend Luxury Treatments? The answer is simply this: I have visited several clinics with various standards (sometimes in a back office of some hairdresser) and even the most expensive ones in Sweden, but this is the first place that a) is price worthy b) deliver what they promise c) deliver really professional results. It doesn’t hurt that the staff is very friendly too. So here’s to all guys and gals: Don’t be afraid to do some minor corrections if that boosts your self confidence. And whatever you do, don’t go to places that make you look unnatural.

I’ve always been so scared to get injections for the same reason as you! Whenever my blood is drawn, I throw up ? But the way you make this sound, I’m not sure I would be as frightened. And to have such help keeping me looking youthful longer? Yes please!! Maybe I’ll need to try something like this out in the future!

This is so cool! I’m too chicken to try this right now, but I’m definitely not opposed to surgery and fillers. I’m Korean after all and Korea is the Mecca of plastic surgery!!

You are so brave Thomas. I actually cry every time when I have to get injection of anything. But if this could make me look younger and prettier, I may want to give it a try! Things we would do for fashion and beauty, right?

I am definitely not opposed to prevention deep lines and also injecting a few things into the face to look well rested. As we start aging, it’s a normal process and whatever I can do to fight it along the way, I will try. =) xoxo, Christine
