[:en]Have you heard of Hugo Iced? Nope, me neither as it was just released recently as an addition to the Hugo line. As it’s still cold as freak over here the name could be thought of as something that keeps us back in whatever this thing called winter is, but instead I like to think of it as something that makes me cool. Guess Hugo Boss was thinking in the same ways as the woody fragrance is supposed to bring a wave of icy freshness and energy, with a design that appeals to the modern and urban man (yay, that’s me).
Top notes of iced mint, both sweet and fresh, lead to the heart dominated by notes of wild tea. The base features woody and green character of Indian vetiver root. This sure sounds fancy, but just have a sample of it next time you pass by an airport, department store or wherever they sell fragrances and you’ll be sure to like it, just as I did. The metallic ice finish bottle also looks really good in your bathroom and serves as an interior detail as well! And almost forgot to mention, the EdT comes in both 75 ml as well as 125 ml bottles.

Med tanke på kylan utomhus trots att vi befinner oss i mars kunde namnet antyda en längtan om att klamra sig fast i vintern. Jag väljer att tolka namnet som att den kyler ner mitt heta yttre (väldigt ödmjuk här). Tydligen tänkte Hugo Boss likadant då de menar att varje sprayning ger en rejäl boost av självförtroende och får bäraren att stanna upp och tänka “idag gäller det, nu kör vi!”.
Doften i sig öppnar upp med pigga, friska toppnoter av iskall mint som både väcker en till liv och ger energi till kropp och själ. Den iskalla, frostiga effekten kommer från samspelet mellan de uppfriskande toppnoterna och de kreativa noterna av vilt te gjort på enbär och pomerans och den djupa intensiva basnoten har en maskulin doft av vild vetiver. Denna energiska ingrediens gör doften ännu fräschare och bidrar med ett dynamiskt intryck. Även flaskans design är innovativ. Med den metalliska och frostiga designen passar den snyggt in i badrumsskåpet och blir en inredningsdetalj i sig! Glömde nästan nämna detta, men doften kommer i EdT i både 75 ml och 125 ml.
